During ROM’s rebranding phase, I got to redesign the membership brochure that would be circulated in the museum for its visitors. Through many iterations and careful consideration of how we organized its information, we adapted the existing content to fit within the new typographic style of ROM.

I got the rare chance to attend a photo shoot day, where a select few objects across Art, Nature, and Culture were carefully picked to be featured in an out-of-home campaign and additional branded content such as this brochure.
From a dozen other curiosity-inducing objects, we chose this Canadian indigenous sculpture of a mother and child to best represent the idea of community once you become a ROM member.

Reflection
This project helped me learn how a design can be polished over time– even if it takes multiple minor adjustments, those changes can help it reach its full potential. Ultimately, this small printout became something I’ve become proud of. Heck, it’s in the ROM! I liked it so much I had to give one copy to my parents as a souvenir.
